Hello and welcome! 😊

My name is Alisha Clayton, and I’m originally from sunny Gainesville, Florida. I’m proud to serve Tallahassee and the surrounding communities as a local State Farm agent. Helping families prepare for life’s important moments is something I genuinely care about, especially helping customers understand their options and prepare for the unexpected.

Before insurance, my background included working in hospice care, an experience that shaped the way I approach my work today. It taught me the importance of compassion, preparation, and being there for families during important moments. My goal is to make insurance easier to understand and help customers feel informed about their coverage options.

I’m also excited to share some agency news: I’m officially no longer a one-woman band! 🎉

I recently welcomed Lucas Laman to the agency as my Agent’s Assistant, and I’m so happy to have him on the team. Lucas is a Florida State University student, a member of the Debate Club, and a great chess player. So, fair warning, if you decide to challenge him to a debate or a game of chess when you stop by the office, come prepared! ♟️😊

Lucas will be working directly alongside me as we continue growing the agency and assisting our customers. Having him on board means another friendly face in the office and another person available to help with customer questions and service needs.

Even as our agency grows, I want to maintain the personal, family-first approach that has always mattered to me. We welcome in-person appointments and office visits, and we’re also available by phone, email, and text. Whether you’re shopping for coverage, reviewing an existing policy, experiencing a life change, or simply have a question, we’re happy to assist.

When I’m not working with customers, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family or in the kitchen. Baking is one of my favorite hobbies, and I genuinely enjoy experimenting with new recipes and sharing sweet treats.

Family is everything to me. I’m happily married to Brandon, and together we’re raising three amazing kids who keep life fun, busy, and full of laughter. I’m also an outdoorsy, nature-loving animal enthusiast. Whether it’s hiking, camping, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with our furry family members, I appreciate every opportunity to slow down and enjoy those moments.

Now that we’re heading into fall and getting closer to my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, it can also be a good time to review your insurance and make sure your coverage reflects your current needs.
