Hello and happy mid-year! 😊 As we roll into summer, the 4th of July, back-to-school moments, and the remaining holidays are just around the corner, I wanted to (re)introduce myself and share what’s been happening lately.

My name is Alisha Clayton. I’m originally from sunny Gainesville, Florida, and I’m passionate about helping families prepare for life’s important moments, especially the ones that matter most. With a heartfelt background in hospice care and years of experience in the insurance industry, my goal is to make sure you and your loved ones feel supported, protected, and confident when it counts.

I’m also proud to share that I’m currently transitioning things at my agency. With State Farm changes and the arrival of the Next Gen Neighbor, customer online enablement has been requested and heard by corporate. As a result, I’m moving toward not having any in-office team members. Even with that transition, this is still a family-first agency. We truly value in-person appointments and visits. And when you can’t make it in, I’m just as available through email, text messages, and voicemails.

If you reach out and don’t get an immediate response, please know that your messages are still important. I use them to help address every need and request as quickly as possible. I’m here every step of the way.

When I’m not working with families, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen. Baking is one of my favorite ways to show love, and I genuinely enjoy experimenting with new recipes and sharing sweet treats.

Family is everything to me, too. I’m happily married to Brandon, and together we’re raising three amazing kids who keep life fun, busy, and full of laughter. I’m also an outdoorsy, nature-loving, animal enthusiast. Whether it’s hiking, camping, or just enjoying the beauty around us, I try to soak up those moments whenever I can. And yes, our furry friends are definitely part of the crew.

As we get closer to my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, I’ll be reminding families that it’s never too early to plan ahead. That can look like reviewing coverage, updating needs as life changes, and staying proactive so nothing is missed.
